Don't remember if I posted this one:
Found in the back of a broken photo frame in a charity shop in Sussex, UK
These were found in the same shop today, in a handbag:

Hedningarna - Dolkaren |

Yellowstone is basically Earth's butthole, where pressures from millennia of bloating are relieved through the sometimes violent expulsion of gasses, fluids, and other stuff you shouldn't touch. Who knew indigestion could be so beautiful? People come from great distances to see the flora, fauna, and geology, admiring the ironic beauty of the potentially hostile environment.
Minerva Terrace, Mammoth Hot Springs. The white stuff is calcium deposit.
( +4 )
Oh, and Meijer Photo and I are BFF. Cool.

Hmm. Possibly I need a Lost icon or two.
A while back, while first run episodes were still on, an ad ran at the end of one episode for some sort of recruitment program, Octagon Global Recruiting or something. Going to the website and giving them your email eventually resulted in receiving a series of emails from the Dharma Initiative. I wasn't sure I'd keep getting them after the early ones, which said they'd be interviewing volunteers at San Diego Comic Con (what sort of marketing gig this is, exactly, I'm still not sure), but they've kept coming. Only now they're from Hans Van Eeghen, Head of Recruiting, and direct "volunteers" to www.dharmawantsyou.com, where they are supposedly collecting information on volunteers through a series of tests (the emails have been letting me know when each knew test is available at the site).
So basically, it's a growing number of minigames with a Lost twist. Like the show, the site is designed to confuse. Of the three tests currently available, you're only allowed to see your results on the first and third. The second, a general knowledge quiz, counts toward your overall score, but you're not allowed to know how or how you did, and you can retake it, but only the first time counts (fans are probably thinking, Yeah, that sounds about right).
I mention it now only because the latest email finally compelled me to register and play around on the site. I'm very curious as to what changes might occurs when season five of the show starts. (When is that, by the way?)
(Also, what's the baby using?)

I am exhausted :).
After accidentally losing weight (I honestly don't know, I can spend weeks dieting, losing nowt, and then all of a sudden for no reason while I'm not paying attention my jeans are like HI LOUISE WE'RE FALLING OFF YOUR ARSE) and being put on the icky 11.30am -> 8pm shifts that's no real surprise, because my energy levels are zilch, but it's mostly a contented sort of listlessness.
I hope you're all doing rather wonderfully <3, and will get around to replying to comments when I can; I suspect I might be rather naughty and donate blood despite said exhaustion at some point so I can cash in on the fun dizzy feelings. I rather like being dizzy as long as I feel in control of said dizziness.
I have over 9000 story ideas and things to write, part of which is wholly and entirely the fault of Hellboy 2 and, as ever, Nyx and Qara and my beloved Meese (have you finished my journal yet btw hon? I keep forgetting to ask XD).
I both love and hate my job, as ever, confusing thing that it is;
AND I GOT THE PS3 :D :D :D. Am playing Metal Gear Solid 4 - my eternal suckitude at those games continues to be a source of rofling to both me and my siblings - and Devil May Cry 4, which is made of WIN and CROTCH SHOTS and SPARKLES and PRETTY 2D SCENERY IN THE BACKGROUND. Also, hello, how much is the castle like the one on... Mallet Island? Nyx, smack me again if I've got that wrong for the zillionth time.
OH. And, yeah, Devil May Cry 4? Certain Aspects T.M. of the fighting? Yeah, I... I do wonder what precisely they were thinking when they decided to include a move where you grab a guy's spear, pierce him with it, drive it in to him a bit, pull it back a bit, drive it in a bit further, and REPEAT THIS A FEW TIMES IN CASE YOU DIDN'T GET THE IDEA?
It... yes.
And more gratuitous Dante pulling himself up off swords, YAY, and Dante WTF SHOOTING THINGS IN THE FACE BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE HE ACTUALLY DID IT YES.
I love this game. It's like the best moments of all three previous games rolled into one. I kind of want to marry it a little.
Love you guys <3!
ETA: HOLY SHIT LA MACHINE IS THE COOLEST GODDAMN THING EVER THERE'S A SPIDER THE SIZE OF GOD OUTSIDE MY WINDOW AT WORK, *AT WORK*, AND OMG I AM LOOKING AT IT AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND OMGILOVEBEINGINTHECAPITALOFCULTUREWTF
