My last exam is tomorrow. Japanese lit. I can't wait until this semester is over. I am NEVER going to take another anthropology class. *shudder* The reading and papers...cry. I don't like the subject that much. But I finally get to take more asian studies classes in the fall though. I met with a concentration councilor/professor so I know I'm doing, unlike the winter semester. In the summer, starting in June, I'm taking Intensive Beginning Japanese, a 10 credit class that meets for three and a half hours, 9:00AM-12:30PM, Monday to Friday for two months. I have no choice but to take it...ugh, summer classes. Cry.

In the fall I'm taking second year Japanese I (which I can't register for yet and will have to get an override), Stat100 Intro to Statistics (for a quantitive reasoning credit -_-), Asian235 Intro to Asian Studies (which I hear is absolutely horrible, but I have to take it for my degree), and History351 Modern China.

So, now that I have more time, I'm getting into more of the LJ groove. I hope nobody has defriended me due to inactivity. ^_^;

I'm taking a summer class too...a four credit Intro to Imaging class MW 9:30 - 2:50 for two months.

Whooo, we can suffer through giving up our summer vacation together XD;

It's like....learning about fonts and screen printing and making stationary and all that stuff. And it means I DON'T have to take a science class! XD

It's not as bad as it sounds, intensive class. It's actually only three hours, because you get a thirty minute break for lunch. And when I went through 2nd year last summer, nearly everyone in the class got along really well, and hung out for the better part of the afternoons everyday, too. (We'd go to Bubble Island and do our homework together.) We made t-shirts that said "If you can read this, please speak Japanese to me." and (due to a running joke that developed) "I ate natto, but I survived!" and just before we finished class, we had a BBQ.

It will be a lot of work, but it'll be a lot of fun too.

That sounds not too bad, actually. I'd love to make some friends...as I'm new at U-M, I don't have that many. Ohh, fun! That'll make up for giving up my summer vacation for it. Plus, we could hang out too since you'll probably have a similar schedule with your intensive class.

Chinese is weird! It runs 9-11, and then there's a break, and then 1-3. O_o I don't know what's up with that, but that still means that I'll have lunch about the same time as you guys, so yeah, we can grab munchies together! ^_^

Is it true that if you rub Buddah's belly, that you get good luck? And if so, how did this whole thing start?

My sister told me two things: He's Buddah, he enlightens you and the followers are called Buddists. LIKE I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!!!

LOL Actually, I don't know too much about Buddhism, but I hope to learn more. I know a little; enough that if I'd ever convert to a religion, it would be Buddhism. Buuut...it's a religion nontheless.

Buddah's belly? Lol. I have no clue. XDDDDD I'm not the expert yet. XD

Thank you! :) They went quite well, better than I expected. I think I'll get on the dean's list...though thay may be pushing it.
